Democracy in colour needs young people with a passion to make a difference

Democracy in colour in partnership with Co-health are organising a special training to help young people (aged 18.35) gain knowledge and skills in all aspects of social change.

 

       Democracy in colour brining young people of colour together to campaign for change

 

The program will be delivered by facilitators with great social movement leadership experience to help interested young people of colour to design and run community campaigns to influence positive social change.

 

Topics will include leadership, strategy, issue/corporate/electoral campaigning, political engagement, messaging & framing, media, public speaking, digital campaigning, organising, fundraising, First Nations’ justice, structural racism, and more.

Graduate of the program will be employed casually in campaign co-design sessions (for 15 hours) and be paid for it. There will also be the opportunity to get paid to facilitate community workshops on a topic of interest.
