The Metropolitan partnerships in Melbourne’s West are seeking nominations for new members and calling community and business leaders to join and help improve outcomes for their local communities.
The Western Metropolitan Partnership is an advisory group established by the Victorian Government. The Partnership is a way for local communities to engage directly with state and local governments, and advise the Victorian Government of the top priorities for jobs, services and infrastructure across the region. This advice will become part of government’s key decision-making processes.
Members of the Partnerships work with community, stakeholders, and local and state government to identify and explore local priorities and opportunities.
Through the partnerships the government is seeking to get insights from locals to understand the specific needs of the residents and drive local action. The Partnerships welcome diversity and individuals with community and business leadership experience who are passionate and community-minded from all walks of life to consider this fantastic opportunity to influence change locally.
