Associate Professor Andre Renzaho is a university lecturer and researcher who has published a lot of papers on health issues in migrants communities, especially African groups in Australia. In 2013 he won an award for academic excellence from the Victorian African Community Awards (VACA) program. A.P Renzaho says that his research has shown that approximately 95% of Australians from African background suffer from Vitamin D deficiency and many of them also have diabetes. These are serious health issues that need attention within our communities.
