AMA organised a community forum last Saturday 22 September 2012 to discuss the negative portrayals of Africans in the media in general and the problematic relationship between the police and sections of african youth groups. The forum was well attended with about 50 people and complaints were heard from members of the diverse african groups. Victoria Police was represented by three members of the force.
