AMA has recently completed an eight weeks media training course to help African-Australian groups and individuals with interest in the media to improve their skills in public and organisational communication, as well as learn how to better network with journalists in mainstream media. Over twenty candidates registered for the training and 15 participants graduated. Several graduates spoke to AMA about their satisfaction with what they have learned from the training. This training was funded by the Victorian Multicultural Commission and OMAC.
