AFL multicultural ambassadors encourage young Africans to consider football as an avenue for success

by  Africa Media Australia

AMA is giving attention to the issues affecting  African youth and in line with this focus a community youth forum is being organised on Saturday 23 March 2013 to discuss youth issues, including amongst other things, how some young Africans can be assisted to develop their natural talents in sports and music. In this video AFL multicultural ambassadors who are promoting diversity  and multiculturalism in the game (football) spoke to AMA  to share their own journeys and communicate a message of encouragement to the young Africans out there who may be interested in the game but still hesitating to give themselves into it for fear that they may not succeed because they are from a minority ethnic group. Harry O’Brien, Majak Daw and Joel Wilkinson share their thoughts with AMA’s Clyde Salumu Sharady.
