The Multicultural Leadership Initiative (MLI) hosted an inspiring photo exhibition titled “Homelands” in Parramatta as part of Sydney Climate Action Week. This event provided a platform for participants to exchange life experiences and celebrate the stories of multicultural climate leaders, fostering a strong sense of community and commitment to environmental stewardship.

The exhibition featured powerful storytelling, with participants sharing their personal climate journeys to inspire action and collective efforts toward a sustainable future. The event successfully enabled both new and old connections within the community, deepening these ties through a shared dedication to addressing climate change.

Key figures from MLI, including board chair Louise Tran and CEO Rathana Chea, attended the event alongside the dedicated team that brought the exhibition to life. Their presence underscored the importance of amplifying stories from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities and advocating for inclusive climate action.

MLI aims to continue this momentum by promoting CALD climate stories and working collaboratively towards a more sustainable and equitable future for all. The initiative is committed to making a difference through community support and collective action.
