Tamar Hopkins has worked with migrant groups in the Flemmington and surrounding areas for many years, assisting them with (amongst other things) issues relating to complaints against the police, as well as educating and informing people with regards to their legal rights and responsibilities in such matters. In this video, Tamar gives some history on the FKLCC and explains some the issues that she has been dealing with from african groups over the last few years. In the next video (to be published soon) Tamar will talk about some of the broader issues relating to to the investigation of complaints against Police to help educate African groups on what they can do if they feel that they are victims of unfair treatment by members of the Police force.
