A 24 year old African-Australian man was killed yesterday in Mansfield Park, Adelaide, after he was stabbed in the chest. A Liberian-born teenaged girl aged 18 has been charged in relation to the death and SA police is still investigating the matter.

AMA understands both the victim and the accused are Australians from a Liberian background. They knew each other and were in a relationship, which started only a couple of months ago. Neighbours and community members have also advised AMA that the accused the two were involved in a lot of fightings over recent weeks and the victim was stabbed on his shoulder only two days ago.
Many community members are in shock following the violent death and it is still unclear what circumstances led to the death of James Gayle, 28 years of age.
