The the Sierra Leonean Community of South Australia has elected a new leader last weekend.
Mr Albert Barrie has been elected as the new President of the association. He replaces the outgoing President Mrs Constance Lynnette Jones

After the elections Mr Albert barrie was given a hand crafted wooden stick symbolising power and authority. He is said to be a man of high integrity, trust and highly committed to the cause of the African-Australian communities in SA in general, in addition to his love for the Sierra Leonean community. .
The swearing in ceremony was officiated by Denis Yangi as Chair of African Communities Council of South Australia (ACCSA), along with deputy George Fomba and two other local community leaders.
