Message from Cameron Dick, Queensland’s Treasurer
Last week I attended the AfriQueensland 2024 Awards Night to recognise the contributions of many individuals, using their time and effort to selflessly serve our state.
And I was so proud to announce that the Miles Labor Government has committed $2.6 million to the African Youth Support Council.
This investment in AYSC supports the pivotal role they play in keeping young people connected and engaged in our communities, including for at-risk youth across their African Village drop-in centres at Moorooka, Geebung and Redbank.
This is a key focus of our Government and an investment we are proud to make to support them in building stronger, safer communities.
