Successful interns will be provided with opportunities to get an insight into the youth sector and manage a small project, with a focus on the social sector or business administration. Additionally, the interns will participate in a Project Management Workshop to gain skills that are transferable to most areas of work. The internship also includes opportunities to meet the right people and build or expand a useful network in this field.
Interns will be expected to do a number of things including assist in promoting programs to local secondary schools students and other young people in the community, generate own ideas about promoting the program locally, undertaking some research, attend events and do some general administration work.
Applications for the internship are open till 5 Feb 2015 and can be sent to intern@mmvllen.org.au and they must include a cover letter and a basic resume. For more information contact Anna or Jon on (03) 9376 7251 to discuss the position further
