Dr Berhan Ahmed is the chairperson of African Think Tank, a peak body that has a long histroy in advocating for African Australian communities, especially in Victoria. In this interview with AMA’s Clyde Sharady, Dr Berhan speaks on Australia’s engagement with Africa. He highlights some historical perspectives and makes some recommendations on the steps that both the government and the African Diaspora communities in Australia should take to help improve the way Australia engages with Africa.
